Following the success of last year’s re-issue of “Metamatic”, Edsel is proud to announce the release of the other three of John Foxx’s groundbreaking albums for the Virgin label in newly-expanded 2 CD
Editions with non-album tracks and previously unreleased material from the album sessions, newly re-mastered from the original tapes by Foxx himself.
John Foxx formed Ultravox! in 1975, and the band recorded three influential albums for Island (one produced by Brian Eno), before Foxx decided to go solo in 1979.
“The Garden”, his second solo album, released in 1981, charted at number 24 in the UK, and was preceded by the singles “Miles Away” and “Europe After The Rain”, both included here.
Disc Two includes twelve bonus tracks: non-album a- and b-sides, rarities as well as 4 previously unreleased tracks. The booklet contains all of the beautiful “The Church” booklet that came free with initial copies of the LP along with lyrics to all the songs as well as rare photos and the singles sleeves.
