Esoteric Recordings are pleased to announce the release of this 2CD anthology by the legendary Spooky Tooth, spanning their entire recorded output for Island Records from their first single to 1974's 'The Mirror'(released in the USA on the label). Evolving from the VIP's into psychedelic rockers Art before becoming Spooky Tooth, the band were one of the early stars of the label along with compatriots Traffic. One of the most intelligent acts of their time, they recorded a series of diverse albums including the classic 'Spooky Two' and the experimental work 'Ceremony' (also released by Esoteric Recordings this month). Including non-album singles, a previously unreleased mix of 'Lost in My Dream' and two previously unreleased songs from 1968, this anthology is the most comprehensive collection of Spooky Tooth's finest work yet and is a fine tribute to a fine, and sometimes overlooked, band.

	Oblivion Esoteric Recordings are pleased to announce the release of a deluxe CD & DVD set featuring a newly re-mastered edition of the classic 1983 album oblivion by Utopia and the first ever European DVD release of the concert film live at the Royal Oak, Detroit filmed in 1981.The album oblivion saw Todd Rundgren, Kasim Sulton, Roger Powell & Willie Wilcox strike out on their own, funding the recording themselves and in the process producing an album of startling originality. Featuring such classic tracks as Itch In My Brain, Cry Baby, Love With A Thinker And Winston Smith Takes It On The Jaw,Oblivion Was One Of Utopia’s Finest Later Albums.The concert video Live At The Royal Oak was shot in Detroit towards the end of utopia’s tenure with Bearsville records and saw the band in fine form. The DVD includes superb renditions of Utopia classics such as One World, Caravan, Love In Action And Lysistrada.In this set the DVD element is completed by the inclusion of the 1983 promotional video for the single release of Cry Baby from the album Oblivion. POV was the final studio album by Todd Rundgren, Kasim Sulton, Roger Powell & Willie Wilcox. 	Walking Down A Street Called Love Gene Vincent and Link Wray are the two great unknowns of rock ‘n’ roll - John Lennon. Link Wray has influenced everyone from the kinks to PJ Harvey with the sublime single "Rumble" and after his inclusion of his music in films such as "Pulp Fiction", "Desperado" and "Independence Day" has enjoyed renewed success. 	Egg This now legendary debut album by Egg featured the talents of Dave Stewart on Keyboards, Mont Campbell on Bass and Clive Brooks on Drums. Egg were associated with the so-called 'Canterbury' style of rock music pioneered by artists such as Caravan and Soft Machine. The trio produced music of startling originality and energy, drawing on influences ranging from rock to jazz to psychedelia to classical. This fusion resulted in one of the most enduring releases to appear on Decca's short lived Nova imprint and is now critically regarded as one of the more unique albums of the early 1970's. Re-mastered from the original tapes, the Esoteric Recordings reissue includes three bonus tracks, including both sides of the bands only single and 'Movement 3' from the albums notorious opus 'Symphony No. 2', now restored in its rightful place in this extended composition. 	The World’s Smallest Big Band Released 27/10/08. Keyboard player and vocalist Eddie Hardin and drummer Pete York had first played together in the second incarnation of the Spencer Davis Group, following Steve Winwood's departure to form Traffic. In 1969 Hardin & York struck out on their own to form a highly unique duo utilising powerful Hammond Organ work and percussion to record a series of wonderful albums in the Progressive / Jazz Rock vein. 'The World's Smallest Big Band' was their second album and featured recordings made at Olympic Studios and material recorded live at De Lane Lea studios in front of a small audience.
